Solid Waste/Recycling

Curbside collection occurs each Monday and Thursday. You must have your cart out by 6:00 a.m., with the wheels towards the house, and carts should be placed 4 feet from one another. 

Yard waste is picked up on Monday. It must be bundled in manageable piles no longer than 4 feet in length. It is limited to a maximum of 4 cubic yards or 10 bags per week. 

Recycling is collected every Wednesday. 

Bulk waste and white goods (bulk collection) must be scheduled by calling FGL directly at (352) 744-7146.  Residents will contract directly thorugh GFL for the bulk item removal.  The charge wil be $20.00 for each item, or $20.00 per cubic yard for excesive volume.  GFL requires payment by credit card only.
